At JPMorgan Chase & Co. we recognize the tremendous sacrifices military members, veterans and their families have made for our nation. Through our programs and initiatives, we aim to position military members, veterans and their families for success in their post-service lives.
The JPMorgan ChaseOffice of Military and Veterans Affairs, established in 2011, drives firm-wide, veteran-focused efforts around three strategic pillars: employment; small business and strategic initiatives including education and housing; and training and development. To date, we have hired more than 12,000 veterans within the firm; donated more than 900 mortgage-free homes to veterans and their families; and helped military families earn more than 10,500 certifications through the Veterans Career Transition Program.
In 2011, JPMorgan Chase also co-founded the Veteran Jobs Mission, a coalition of more than 235 companies dedicated to employing U.S. military veterans. Collectively, members of the Mission are committed to hiring a total of one million veterans, with more than 400,000 already hired – and are also working to increase its focus on the engagement and career development of veterans in the private sector.
