Veterans’ values of respect, integrity, loyalty and honor match our T-Mobile values. Whether through our recruiting efforts or internal programs, we strive to ensure veterans, and their families, are successful professionally in their post-service lives.
In 2015, to help with our recruiting efforts, T-Mobile spearheaded a new training approach to help recruiters better understand military culture and the service members who were applying for jobs. And then last year, T-Mobile pledged a commitment to hire 5,000 military veterans and military spouses by 2020.
For T-Mobile employees, the Military Honor & Support Community (MHSC) employee network was established in 2013 to increase awareness around veteran culture and highlight the positive impact veterans add to the business. The MHSC is made up of military service men and women, and others who are a source of support and outreach for military veterans, active duty service members, National Guard and Reservists, their families and the communities T-Mobile serves. The MHSC is one of T-Mobile’s fastest growing employee network groups, and has increased our membership by over 30% in 2017 alone.
We are honored that Military Friendly has awarded T-Mobile as a top 100 Military Friendly Employer for 10 consecutive years. And over the past decade, T-Mobile has received 23 additional local and regional honors as a military-friendly employer.
